CDTS Privacy Policy

We’ve updated our Personal Data and Privacy Policy in line with new data protection legislation (GDPR), which comes into force on 25th May 2018.

This privacy policy sets out how CDTS uses and protects any information that you give CDTS when you use this website.

CDTS may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 20th May 2018.

In order to process your enquiry and provide you with the best possible level of service, we may need to collect information for sending you information about our products and services. We will not, under any circumstances, pass on any information we have collected about you to any third party. All personal information is held securely to ensure that no other party is able to view your details.

We do not endorse sending ‘spam’ mail and will only send you information relevant to you regarding future dog training, workshops or events that we may be running, or information about how to join our society. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time.

Payment and Newsletter Processes

We use MailChimp and Bookwhen to provide us with services which are needed to run our business and help assist us with our work and who process your information for us on our behalf. 

Your information will be shared with these service providers where necessary to provide you with the service you have requested, whether that is accessing our website, joining our mailing list or paying for classes or workshops from us.

If you would like further information about the identities of our service providers, however, please contact us directly via our contact form or by email and we will provide you with such information where you have a legitimate reason for requesting it (where we have shared your information with such service providers, for example).

Electronic Newsletter

The details you submitted will be retained for the use of keeping you up to date with events that we have organised, for as long as you remain subscribed (i.e. you do not unsubscribe) or if we decide to cancel this service.

Information you submit to us when you sign up for our newsletter (your email address) is held on Mailchimp’s servers. You can access their privacy policy here.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
